Electroluminence (EL)

 

Electroluminence is a very useful tool for invisible detects which may affect the efficiency and life time of the solar cell. The EL test can be done within seconds and this can greatly improve the yield by EL inspection before the defective solar cells are assembled into solar panels. Micro-crack is one of the most common failure especially for mono-crystalline solar cells.
