n&k - n&k 1500D Manual-Load Metrology System for Magnetic Disks

 

Stand-alone optical metrology system for fast, high-resolution, accurate and non-destructive measurements of thin film thickness, and n and k spectra for magnetic disk media.

 

The n&k 1500D manual-load system is designed for handling all sizes of magnetic disks (outer diameters: 95, 65, 25mm and inner diameters: 7, 12, 20, 25mm). Spotsize: 1mm

 

The n&k 1500D simultaneously determine thickness, n and k in the spectral range of 190-1000nm, and provide non-destructive, real time, high throughput measurements directly on the device.  These systems are best suited for R&D applications for blanket films on magnetic disks, small coupons and other opaque substrates.

 

Additionally, n&k 1500D is equipped with an automated X-Y stage for full sample mapping.
